Zone Conference May
May is half over and it seems to go by faster each week. We have completed 4 months of our mission.
We love this work and the things we are
Digging tulips
learning here in Omaha.

Digging tulips
Digging tulips
We got to do some physical labor this week. On Tuesday we helped the FM Missionaries dig up the tulip bulbs.
The physical labor was great, but our bodies did tell us about it the rest of the week.
Our FM Missionaries are great and provide a lot of service.

Ephraim's Rescue ( Richard Benedict)

This week while serving we had occasion to have
Ephraim Hanks, well the actor who played him in Ephraim's Rescue ( Richard Benedict) come to the a Tabernacle.
It was fun talking to him and his wife and to share the lessons with them. Sister White even got her picture with him.
He played the Older Ephraim in the movie.

Zone Conference
Zone conference is always a highlight. We are so grateful for our strong leaders and the counsel and direction we receive from them.
President and Sister Gardner make everyone feel like you are a long lost friend.
We appreciate their love and concern for us in our trials we have had at home.

We love our directors at the Trail Center, they are so concerned for each of us. Their support during the past couple of weeks makes us feel better and stronger as missionaries.
Ferry Crossing

On Saturday we toured the Mormon sites in Nebraska. Sister Latey took a couple of Senior Couples on a
3 hour tour called River to River tour. We visited the Nebraska side of the Central Ferry the largest in the river,
Cold Springs camp the first Mormon Site in Nebraska, Council Hill where the Brethren dressed in Temple Robes
and had a Temple Ceremony, Cutler Park, a settlement west of Winter Quarters, Kimball Monument (first
campsite outside Winter Quarters) and Elkhorn river crossing. I have included pictures. It was interesting to get some on-site
into the early settlements in Nebraska.

With Seminary Teacher

Sunday at the Trail Center we had one of our Seminary
Teachers Brother Weltiy came on tour, he was our 9th grade Seminary Teacher.
He was traveling through and recognized Sister White and even remembered her first name.
He probably only remembered me because he had to kick me out of his class one day.

It is amazing the people you meet at the Trail Center
and Tabernacle. Everyday people from Utah come through on tours, and they either know you or know some of your Family and friends.

Again we are thankful for our special family at home.
We appreciate so much their love and support. We pray they will continue to serve and help each other, be healthy and happy.
