April 30th through May 6th

This week we worked most of the time at the Tabernacle in Kainesville in Council Bluffs Iowa.
This site is important to the members of the church because

1. Brigham Young was sustained as a President of the Church on December 27, 1847.
2.  November 1848 Oliver Cowdery returned to the church and was rebaptized.
In Church History this part of history is usually covered in one Sunday in Sunday School and in Seminary a Couple of Days.

Many people passed through this week, and we were able to explain the Gospel.

We had some heavy rain and tornado warnings. Rain storms are different than Utah.
Leaving the Tabernacle on Tuesday windshield wipers would not take the rain off the
windshield fast enough.

At the Tabernacle the tulips are in full bloom, and so beautiful, we will share more pictures.

A young man walking by the Tabernacle felt the spirit, didn't know why,
but he wanted to come in and learn more. We were able to take him through
the tour of the tabernacle and talk about the Book of Mormon and it's importance.
He accepted the offer for a Book of Mormon. We challenged him to read it. He wants
the missionaries so we gave the referral to the sisters.

On Saturday with the Directors we had a tour from Price Utah of 104
young adults and leaders at the Tabernacle.

The last shift on Sunday a couple came in who wanted to
see the Tabernacle.  They had heard about the church and had
missionaries talk to them before. Elder White gave them a copy
of the Book of Mormon and challenged them to read it. We gave a
referral to the Sisters to visit them this week as they do their work in the Council Bluff area.

Fontinelle Ward Karen Group had a picture taken as one of the Senior
Couples leave the mission Elder and Sister Taggart are leaving for
Farmington Utah. We're trying to teach the Karen group men the
responsibilities of the Priesthood and Priesthood Leadership, and the women English.

KAREN GROUP

Sunday evening we got to talk to Jessie and Josh for their birthdays and on Saturday talked to Asher for his birthday.
Great time to be serving a mission for the church, great things going on in Omaha.
