| Trail Center Sisters with Elder Russell and President Gardner |
We have worked all week without a preparation day, doing tours and attending to our missionary duties. We love serving
and being able to do the missionary work. We have had alot coming from Utah, Idaho, and different places following the Mormon
Trail. It has been so great to tell them about the blessings as well as the struggles and faith of the pioneers. We have been
working on memorizing scriptures so we can better ourselves as missionaries. Along with scriptures Sister White has memorized
The Living Christ and The Family Proclamation. Because of her efforts she will have achieved all the memorization asked us
by the Mission President. In the process we have each received two missionary Study Journals and Sister White will receive a
Master Teacher plaque at Zone Conference. (We love that the Lord helps us achieve righteous goals:) he will help you too.
We had some rewards this week with the Karen Group. Our goal is to have the Priesthood leaders of the group take over
conducting and running the Group. Sunday the Group Leader did a wonderful job blessing the Sacrament. The first
time he has used his priesthood in front of the group. Also we have had some of the children do a scripture reading in front
of the group. This week one 10 year old girl recited from memory the 10 commandments. Also being Fathers Days the Karen
children sang to their Fathers. This is a big improvement because since November it has been the Missionaries doing all the
assignments in Sacrament meeting. Our speaker assigned was in the hospital becoming a father. Two Elders ( a young Elder,
and Elder White) filled in with great stories and the spirit was strong.

We harvested our first Nebraska cucumber on our little balcony. Looking forward to our own tomatoes. Also Sister White on

her walks in the mornings has enjoyed watching the cute little bunnies. Here are some of her pictures.
