This week has been a great week. We were able to work both at the Mormon Trail Center and the Tabernacle. Many interesting tours from people taking children to school to BYU or BYU - IDAHO. We had a couple of families who sold all their property and quit their jobs to move to Maine and Florida. Some couples were traveling to do genealogy in the area. All great tours and all wonderful people.
Our Stake Conference had great talks and training. The visiting area authority, talked about the Sabbath Day by reading “The Sabbath Is a Delight” by Elder Russell M. Nelson (April 2015), Reading the Book of Mormon by reading “The Power of the Book of Mormon” by President Thomas S. Monson (April 2017), Simplify life, by reading “Be Anxiously Engaged” by Elder M. Russell Ballard (October 2012), and Ministering by reading “Ministering” by President Russell M. Nelson (April 2018). Also finding God's Children through missionary work and following the direction of the Prophet will help us become closer to Christ and prepare for the Second Coming.![]() |

President Gordon B. Hinckley taught: “So many of us look upon missionary work as simply tracting. Everyone who is familiar with this work knows there is a better way. That way is through the members of the Church. Whenever there is a member who introduces [someone], there is an immediate support system. The member bears testimony of the truth of the work. He is anxious for the happiness of his … friend. He becomes excited as that friend makes progress in learning the gospel.
“The full-time missionaries may do the actual teaching, but the member, wherever possible, will back up that teaching with the offering of his home to carry on this missionary service. He will bear sincere testimony of the divinity of the work. He will be there to answer questions when the missionaries are not around. He will be a friend to the convert who is making a big and often difficult change. … The process of bringing new people into the Church is not the responsibility alone of the missionaries. They succeed best when members become the source from which new [people] are found” (“Find the Lambs, Feed the Sheep,” Ensign, May 1999, 105–6).Preach My Gospel of 161.
Help find people to teach and make referrals to the Full Time missionaries, or send your friend’s name to our Email and we will pass the referral along wherever they are. Or send to our Mormon.org accounts: https://www.mormon.org/me/M8BC; or https://www.mormon.org/me/KZW5. We will direct it to the missionaries.Thank you, you will be blessed.
We love the work and pray you will follow our Savior
